Congratulations!
1. Congratulations!
Congratulations on completing the course data preparation in Excel!2. Chapter 1
Throughout this course, we have covered some key concepts and tasks related to preparing data using Excel. In Chapter 1, we examined the different ways you can import data into Excel using different file types.3. Chapter 1
We started cleaning our data by utilizing Excel's remove duplicates feature.4. Chapter 1
And we added and manipulated missing data into our dataset through different Excel fill features.5. Chapter 2
In Chapter 2, we got out hands dirty with some new functions. Specifically, we learned how to use text functions to combine columns and strings together to make new variables and to optimize our dataset.6. Chapter 2
We then moved on to some date functions what gave us the option to add new fields related date data types. This way we could take our dataset up a level and add new layers and angles to analyze later on.7. Chapter 2
We also started to consider the protection and security of our Excel work, and now we can protect worksheets to help ensure the integrity of our data.8. Chapter 3
In Chapter 3, we took our use of functions in Excel to the next level. Through the use of logical operators, that helped us create flags in our data so that we can filter and sort it better.9. Chapter 3
We also started to nest functions. We learned how powerful the IF function can be in Excel by using it to create new category variables in our dataset that would help us analyze our data more creatively.10. Chapter 3
We also learnt how to leave notes and comments in our Excel worksheets for other users who we share our files with.11. Chapter 4
In our final chapter, we discussed how to use lookup functions in Excel to identify results of interest, or even bring in whole columns of data from different worksheets.12. Chapter 4
We also got a first glimpse and interaction with PivotTables, our dynamic, interactive tables created from our prepared dataset.13. The Excel journey!
Awesome job in reaching the end of your Excel data preparation journey with DataCamp. But there are more journey's to start in Excel, so good luck!Create Your Free Account
