Tracking Updates in Shortcuts
In this exercise, we will observe how shortcuts dynamically reflect updates made to source data, without needing re-ingestion or refresh. To see this in action, we will write data to a Lakehouse, create a shortcut, and then modify the source data by adding new rows. Finally, we will verify that the changes are automatically reflected in the shortcut.
Note: It’s okay if the code itself seems a bit overwhelming in this exercise. We’re more interested in the outcome than the code itself!
