Screencasts vs. audio recordings
Screencasts provide an opportunity for you to review your course as a whole, finalize the script (realize what's working and what isn't), and make any final changes. They allow CDs an opportunity to hear you/the script, provide final feedback, and direct you on how to improve your performance to ensure a high-quality recording. Following screencasts you will record audio-only recordings of your script, which will go in the final live version of the course.
The following articles available in our knowledge base will give you a better idea of what to expect when creating screencasts and audio recordings.
