Congratulations!
1. Congratulations!
Congratulations on making it to the end of the course!2. Course creation phases
By now, you should now know that DataCamp courses are created in three main phases.3. Course design
First there's phase 1, course design; where you will create the blueprints for your course.4. Course development
Then there's phase 2, course development; when you will build out your videos and exercises,5. Course maintenance
And lastly, after launch, you will make sure your course is in top shape during course maintenance.6. Tools
While creating your course, you will work with several tools, including Asana, GitHub, and our course editor, Teach.7. Teach effectively
You'll create your course chapter-by-chapter and lesson-by-lesson using defined learning objectives, real-world data, and clear analogies and heuristics.8. Engaging content
You'll build engaging and dynamic videos and exercises that will help your learners focus on learning by doing.9. Course launch
Once your course launches, we'll market your course through several different channels, including Twitter and Facebook.10. Stay engaged
Don't forget to stay in touch! Although DataCamp will be there to help every step of the way, this is your course, and you are responsible for it's maintenance and ongoing promotion after hard launch. Ideally, try to designate one day a month as a "DataCamp Day" to check your content dashboard, performance maintenance if needed, and promote your course!11. Instructor Community
Once your course is hard launched you'll become part of our Instructor Community and receive occasional updates and newsletters from the Instructor Success team. You can also join the Instructor Slack group to connect with other DataCamp instructors. If you have any questions or need assistance once your course is launched and live, our door is always open - get in touch by emailing [email protected]12. Start teaching!
Thanks again for taking the time to learn all about how we make courses at DataCamp. We really hope you've learned a lot and had some fun. Now get out there and start teaching!Create Your Free Account
